Suzanne Snook
Suzanne began making pottery 20 years ago while living in the south of England. After an initial two-year residency in the studio of Ken Potter in Portsmouth, Suzanne moved to Cornwall where she was mentored and taught by some of England's finest potters. She became an active member of the Cornwall Crafts Association and began showing and selling her work in St.Ives, Penzance, Helston and various galleries of the National Trust. Suzanne now works out of her own studio in Manotick , Ontario where she produces a line of thrown and carved gallery pieces and functional domestic ware. With her ceramic teaching knowledge at a private boarding school in England and the experience and inspiration gleaned from accompanying her husband on a diplomatic posting in Turkey. Suzanne is now looking forward to sharing her knowledge with students at the Gloucester Pottery School.
