NOW SHOWING:
Exhibition of Ceramic by
Bill Reddick
Aug 20th - October 20th, 2010
PAST EXHIBITIONS:

Bill Reddick, a self taught artist, was deeply affected
by the ancient Song Dynasty Porcelain of China. He was
invited there in 1998 to participate in the “First
International Ceramic Art Conference” and to tour China.
Bill’s porcelain demonstrates a fluency in that ancient
language of form, and technique, while expressing
contemporary design.
From 2001 he has fulfilled many commissions among
which were dinner services for the Governer General and
the Canadian Ambassador for Tokyo. In 2006 he was asked
by the Chairman of the Canadiana Fund to design
dinnerware for the Prime Minister’s residence. Although
that request is on hold, the design, which featured Canada
Geese in flight, was accepted to three important
exhibitions in Toronto, Seoul and Vancouver. The “Plate
with National Imagery” was exhibited in June 2010 at the
G-20 Summit in Toronto as part of the Unity and Diversity
Exhibition of Canadian Craft that travelled to the Republic
of Korea in 2009. This artist has reached a very high
standard in his work and is recognized internationally.
