In this 6 week class the student will learn the basics of handbuilding for both functional and decorative ceramics. The class will experiment with different decorating styles using patterns, embellishments, and underglaze colors and slips to enhance the work. There will be a deeper tutorial in glazing and decorating techniques to enhance patterns and textures on the students work. 10kg of clay included, with more available for purchase. No prerequisite. Ages 16 to Adult. Please bring an apron to protect your clothes.
