COVID 19 - In order to safely run the Gloucester Pottery School programs, everyone entering the premises must wear a mask that covers the nose, mouth and chin. If they have a temperature, cough or other COVID symptoms, they cannot enter the GPS premises. There will be no exceptions to this policy.   The City of Ottawa is requiring everyone entering Shenkman Arts Centre – to show proof of vaccination along with a government issued ID. Gloucester Pottery School is required to ask all students over the age of 12 to show proof of vaccination or a doctor's note indicating a medical exemption at the start of your first class.

This 6 week class is intended for experienced artists that are looking for an opportunity to explore their own ideas and projects on the wheel. This class will be student driven with no set curriculum, but an instructor will be present for supervision. Students must have taken at least one class previously at GPS and they must be able to center and throw unassisted. This class is 3 hours instead of the normal 2.5. Class will take place in studio 2, and following our Covid policies, students must stay in studio 2 for the duration of class. Clay is not included - but must have been purchased from GPS. Each student will be given a $50 glaze firing credit that must be used during the 6-week session, if needed student can pay for additional firings.
