The Gloucester Pottery School Team is so excited to share our summer term with you!! Unfortunately we were not able to run our spring term due to the stay at home order so we are making up for it this summer. We have so many great programs coming your way!!
This year we have camps for everyone: Kids, Teens and Adults!
A fun week of pottery creation, where each day for two hours your child will learn the fundamental handbuilding skills (pinch pot, coil, and slab rolling) to create a unique project. Projects will be fired and available to pick up 3 weeks after camp - parents/guardians will be notified via email. Ages 7-13.
An intensive 1 week wheel camp (Monday to Friday) where the student will learn and practice the art of throwing and trimming. Our technicians will glaze the pots afterwards. Pottery is ready for pick up 3 weeks after camp. Ages 12yrs and up. Materials included. 2 hour and 4 hour camps available
An intensive 1 week handbuilding camp (Monday to Friday) where the student will learn and practice various handbuilding and surface decoration techniques to make up to five projects. Our technicians will glaze the pots afterwards. Pottery is ready for pick up 3 weeks after camp. Ages 12yrs and up. Materials included. 2 hour classes
