Adult Wheel Level 1+ FULL DAY Fri 10:00am Tour niveau 1+ pour adultes - ven 10h00 Karen Kurtzrock English / Anglais Friday/Vendredi 10:00 AM 3:30 PM 05/17/2024 06/21/2024 499 Register – Inscrire This full day class (5.5 hours for 6 consecutive weeks) is a 1+ level intended for intermediate students to improve their ability to center and throw consistently. This intensive class is about learning - not production - and rather than keeping every pot the student is expected to cut some of their pots and analyze them with the instructor to determine the areas that need improvement. The class will cover the fundamentals of wheel throwing in addition to introducing students to a variety of handle making techniques and surface decoration. This course is aimed at students who have taken level 1 wheel and have a basic understanding of wheel throwing. It is not intended for advanced potters who are looking for studio time to produce a large amount of work. The student can make up to 20 pots over the course of this session. Lunch break from 12-12:30pm - please bring your lunch! Materials included. Prerequisite: Level 1 wheel. The kits include all of the clay and tools you will need and we provide you with a great video tutorial to guide you through your project.
